According to Shark 104.3 morning personality Ashley O the red dots on the side of John Gourley's face were no accident. The lead singer for 'Portugal. The Man', proudly sported them today at the L Bar at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. Ashley says his bandmate kicked him in the face with cleats during, "Playful wrestling."
The band was playing a private Shark Out of Water performance for listeners (something the station does at least once a month). 'Portugal. The Man' played a wonderful short set before their concert tonight at the Culture Room. Obviously, today was the right day to play hooky from work.
