ROYAL PALM BEACH, Fla. — On Monday, May 30, there are Memorial Day events with moments to remember those that have fallen for our freedoms. To add to the list please e-mail tawalker@wptv.com.

Boca Raton
The City of Boca Raton is hosting two free Memorial Day events.

Ceremony - 9 a.m. - 10 a.m.

The event honors the sacrifice made for our freedoms. There will be drills, music, and a reserved section for Gold Star Families. 451 SW 4th Ave.

Concert - 7 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

A free concert under the stars with the band Krescendo at Mizner Park Amphitheater.

Indiantown
IVA is hosting a Memorial Day Remembrance Ceremony at 9 a.m. at 16701 SW Morgan st.

Jensen Beach
Memorial Day BBQ at the Jensen Beach VFW with live music in the Tiki Hut by South Bound from noon - 4 p.m.

Jupiter
The town is having a ceremony at 9:30 a.m. at the veterans memorial between the Community Center and the Police Department.

Lake Park
Is having a ceremony at 11 a.m. at Kelsey Park.

Lake Worth
South Florida National Cemetery Memorial Day Ceremony is at 10 a.m. WPTV NewsChannel 5's Mike Trim is emceeing the ceremony.

Parking will be in the Target Parking lot North of the cemetery, 5900 State Road 7, starting at 8:00 am. No parking along State Road 7 or inside the cemetery.

Busses from the Veterans Administration will transport guests to the cemetery and return them to their vehicles following the ceremony. Please arrive prior to 9:30 as the ceremony begins promptly at 10:00.

Special Instructions: While this will be an outdoor event, all attendees, including media, are encouraged to adhere to CDC guidelines, wear masks and maintain physical distancing from other attendees to limit transmission of COVID-19.

Lantana
17th Annual Memorial Day "A Day to Remember" event will be at 11:50 a.m. at Palm Beach Memorial Park. This year the group plans to honor service dogs.

Stuart
Residents and visitors are invited to attend the annual Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony to remember and honor our fallen soldiers in all national conflicts of war and to honor the families of these heroes. The ceremony will include a dedication recognizing Sgt. Thaddeus Dennis, a fallen soldier from Stuart who served in Vietnam as a United States Army 720th Military Policeman. The event starts at 10 a.m. parade with a ceremony to follow

Parade: Begins at SE Georgia Avenue on East Ocean Boulevard and ends at Memorial Park, 300 SE Ocean Blvd., Stuart

Palm Beach Gardens
The City of Palm Beach Gardens honors and remembers the servicemen and women who never left the battlefield with a Wreath Ceremony. Flags will be presented by the Palm Beach Gardens Police and Fire-Rescue Honor Guard. The event is at City Hall at 9 a.m.

Port St. Lucie
A special service will be held May 30, 2022 at Veterans Memorial Park to remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice. The City of Port St. Lucie and the United Veterans of Port St. Lucie will provide a moving tribute in recognition and commemoration of the fallen men and women at 10 a.m.

GySgt, U.S. Marine Corps. retired, and remembrance and celebration of those who have died in service. Additionally, the service will include a performance of “God Bless America” and an armed forces medley by the Port St. Lucie Community Band, a rifle salute, the national anthem, a resounding of taps and more.

Among the dignitaries in attendance will be Vice Mayor Jolien Caraballo and veteran Flo Ripperger, who will lead the Pledge of Allegiance.

Seating is limited, so arriving early and bringing a chair is recommended.

Vero Beach
Will have a Memorial Day Color Guard ceremony at 9 a.m.

Wellington
The Village of Wellington and American Legion Post 390 will honor all veterans with a parade and ceremony on Monday, May 30. The parade starts at 8:15 a.m. and the ceremony begins at 8:30 a.m.
