PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. — If you are trying to stay socially distant but still want to venture out of your home here are some ideas for this weekend.
Get your moment of zen during the coronavirus pandemic by strolling the Mounts Botanical Garden. Relax and unwind as you experience the Butterfly Garden, the Children's Maze (made up out of tall shrubs) koi fish, the Stickwork exhibit, and much much more.

- Capacity is limited to 50%
- Groups are limited to five people
- Cash is not accepted
- Must wear a mask when social distancing is not possible
2) Cider Doughnuts Curbside Pickup - West Palm Beach
Florida's first cider doughnut company is offering curbside pickup on Saturday, Aug. 22 from 9 a.m. to noon. Normally you could find these doughnuts at the West Palm Beach Greenmarket. They are located at 5640 Corporate Way in West Palm Beach. They say you drive up, place your order, and by the time you pay they will hand you your doughnuts.
Drive-in-style movie at Dreher Park (South of the Palm Beach Zoo). Gates open at 6 p.m. and the movie starts around 7 p.m. $10 per vehicle or $30 for VIP.
4) Virtualoso - Virtual Talent Show
Do you sing, dance, have a unique talent or variety show act? Then charity organization 'Artists and Charities Hand in Hand' is accepting video submissions from groups based within Palm Beach, Broward, and Maimi-Dade counties. Each submission should include a two-minute audition video of the talent. It costs $10 to enter and the deadline is Sept 30, 2020. First place will win $1,000, second place $500, and third place $250. Money raised from the event will help local arts organizations.
