John Pacenti is the senior manager for investigative and in-depth content. He is an award-winning investigative reporter with more than 35 years of journalistic experience.
Before coming to WPTV, Pacenti worked for the Palm Beach Post, Associated Press, Daily Business Review, New Times and the Arizona Daily Star. His award-winning work includes coverage of sexual predator Jeffrey Epstein, the opioid crisis, court-ordered guardianships of seniors, police use of lethal force and public corruption among the judiciary.
He has been honored by the Green Eye Shade Awards, Society of Professional Journalists and the Florida Press Club.
Joining WPTV in August 2021, Pacenti spearheaded the station's Priced Out of Paradise series and numerous investigations with the Contact 5 team.
