Alexa Kizlinski was born and raised in Boca Raton, Florida. She is a burrowing owl from Florida Atlantic University, where she majored in journalism and double minored in political science and psychology.
In her senior year, she studied abroad in London for both journalism and film.
Alexa was the main anchor for FAU Today, as well as the producer for FAU's South Florida Journal. Throughout her time at FAU, she participated in many social media projects that you can find on their Instagram and YouTube pages.
Alexa joined WPTV in 2023 as the real-time desk editor, fresh out of college, and couldn't be more thrilled to be a part of the team! She aspires to be a reporter in the near future and is always looking to be where the action is!
When Alexa isn't working, you can find her at the beach, the gym, or singing, playing the piano and making music in the studio.
Alexa loves to travel, meet new people, try new things that are out of her comfort zone and have exciting experiences that help to make her life interesting and improve the lives of others!
