TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Right now you can get free weekly access to your credit reports.

Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody is encouraging Floridians to take advantage of the free services offered by Equifax, Experian and Transunion.

"Reviewing credit reports will keep you current on information that is being reported about your personal payment history and alert you to any inaccuracies or scams affecting your credit score that you can then promptly work to correct," Moody said.

If you're unable to make payments because of the pandemic, Moody suggests talking with your lenders to see if any assistance is available. Being proactive can help protect your credit during the crisis, Moody said.

Free weekly access to credit reports from Equifax, Experian and Transunion will run through April 2021.
