INGREDIENTS:
2 each – Slices of bread, sliced 1” thick 4 oz – French toast batter 1 oz (v) – Butter substitute 3 oz – Sugar coated pecans, coarse ground 1 each – Banana, sliced 1 tsp – Light brown sugar 4 oz (v) – Maple syrup, warm |

DIRECTIONS:
1. Place 2 slices of bread in French toast batter (see recipe) 2. Put ½ ounce butter in a sauté pan 3. Place the bread on the butter, press 1 ounce of pecans on top of each and cook for 2 minutes 4. Flip the bread and continue cooking for an additional 2 minutes or until golden brown 5. Put ½ ounce of butter in a sauté pan, add the banana slices and 1 ounce of ground pecans 6. Top with 1 teaspoon of light brown sugar and heat for 30 seconds, not to discolor the bananas 7. Flip the bread, place on a cutting surface, cut in half in a triangular shape 8. Shingle on a plate and serve pecan side up 9. Add the sautéed banana slices and garnish with 2 shakes of powdered sugar 10. Serve with warm maple syrup

1. In a stainless-steel bowl mix the cinnamon, nutmeg, and sugar thoroughly 2. In a separate stainless-steel bowl whisk together the eggs, milk, and vanilla 3. Add the cinnamon mixture and continue to blend until the dry ingredients are thoroughly combined |
