Florida doesn't have fall weather too many days, so it's fun to find other ways to celebrate the season.
Find decorations that you can add on to year after year. It's fun to watch your children's artwork evolve. Don't just think of drawings and paintings. Think haunted houses and sugar skulls. Add a new one each year.
Fun with food! Who says you need to wait till Halloween day to enjoy the candy and sweets. Find some yucky and unique candies that no one else has, or get in the kitchen and create "Intestine Cinnamon Rolls" or "Eyeball Pie."
Add little things to your kids days. Even something as simple as seasonal napkins and fun lunch items can put a smile on their face and have them build excitement for the holiday.
Younger kids don't have to be left out. Try out Pumpkin-spice playdough. Or maybe some fun slime for older kids.
