Businesses and community members are stepping up to donate to Steve Weagle's Ride for the Red Cross.
This marks WPTV First Alert Chief Meteorologist Steve Weagle's 22nd annual fundraiser for the American Red Cross. Steve normally drums up support by riding a bike from the Treasure Coast down throughout Palm Beach County. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Steve is not able to bike throughout the community this year. However, he's still spreading awareness and raising money for the Red Cross ahead of hurricane season.
Multiple companies have shown their support for Steve's Ride for the Red Cross, including GroovyTek. The tech training company has donated $2,500 to the Red Cross.
