Police say the body of a 54-year-old woman was found Tuesday morning in the 5400 block of NW Moorhen Trail at the Sanctuary Apartments in Port St. Lucie.
According to officials, the body was found at about 8:50 a.m. lying in between the apartment complex dumpster and the wall that shields the dumpster from public view.
"There’s no obvious signs of gunshots or anything like that," said Sgt. Frank Sabol with the Port St. Police Department.
A preliminary investigation has revealed no signs of foul play, according to Sgt. Sabol
Police said they need to interview the victim’s family members to determine a timeline for what might have happened.
The Medical Examiner will determine the exact cause of death.
