This week, Palm Beach County Commissioners passed a group of new rules to help keep your kids safe when you send them to day care.

The new regulations provide greater consistency with state regulations, according to county documents.

The Florida Department of Health in Palm Beach County and Child Care Advisory Council recommended the changes.

Some of them include requiring alarms on vehicles that transport more than six kids, banning bounce houses and trampolines, banning candles and plug-in air fresheners indoors.
