A developing area of low pressure southwest of Bermuda has a 60 percent chance of development, and could become Tropical or Subtropical Storm Andrea later Monday or Tuesday.
The good news is that this is no threat to the United States at all. However, folks in Bermuda will be watching it closely.
The other good news is that even if this disturbance develops into something, it will only last a day or so.
The models that do show development later Monday, also show this development falling apart late Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning.
The 2019 Atlantic hurricane season officially begins on June 1.
