MIAMI BEACH, Fla.-- Have you ever wanted to know what it’s like to have millions of eyes on you during football’s biggest night? This weekend, Miami Beach hosts the NFL Experience at the Miami Beach Convention Center.
The NFL says The Super Bowl Experience is an interactive theme park with participatory games, memorabilia, youth football clinics and autograph sessions with NFL players. The even a store where you can get the first look at the special uniforms the 49ers and Chiefs will wear during the Super Bowl. You can also design and purchase your own NFL gear.
“If it wasn’t for the fans we would be here 100 years,” said Jessica Christ, NFL event retail manager.
Visitors can also try a 40-yard dash, vertical jump against players on screens and check out Super Bowl rings. Fans can even meet the people responsible for making the footballs used during the game.
“We cut it. Stamp it. Sew it,” said Andy Wentling, Wilson Football Factory plant manager. “We mold the football and provide the NFL with their game balls every year.”
“This is really for fans who don’t have a ticket,” added Nicki Ewell, NFL director of events. “This is your Super Bowl - this is your chance.”
