*Surf forecast for the Palm Beaches and Treasure Coast*
UPDATED: Aug 8, 2025
<<WAVE REWIND<<
Fun swell made it down into the Treasure coast and northern PBC. Was fun to have a north swell in the summer!
SURFCAST DISCUSSION
The next low after Dexter never really organized into anything so not really expecting any significant swell from it. A continued small swell should still come in upcoast over the weekend, mainly at the lower tides. Sunday the better bet as maybe a small pulse of energy may bump it up a bit. Not much for the rest of the week.
DAILY SURFCAST SPECIFICS:
SATURDAY: Possibly some small knee high or less windchop for PBC, and maybe still a small NE swell on the Treasure Coast at lower tides. Wind SE 10-15kts.
SUNDAY: Minimal for PBC, Maybe upcoast a slight uptick in NE swell.... Knee/Waist high @ lower tides. Wind ESE 10kts.
MONDAY: Minimal for PBC, Small NE swell upcoast continues Wind ESE 10-12kts.
TUESDAY-FRIDAY: Small for PBC, Small swell upcoast at the better spots.

LONG RANGER SURFCAST
The two highlighted areas now don't look like they will do much. Succumbing to dry air. Another wave coming off the coast of Africa will have a chance with some of the dry Saharan dust clearing out at the same time. We should see a storm develop out in the Main Development region of the Atlantic by Friday. I realize the GFS keeps spinning this up into a major hurricane and slamming it into Florida but it's just too early to really trust the models. Most models have something, so that's about all we can gather from it at this time. Conditions are going to become more favorable for tropical development mid-late August so we should get a pretty good spurt of activity over the next couple weeks out there. Stay tuned!
