After an Aurora, Colorado, 7-Eleven printed an anti-Tom Brady message on its receipt, a Massachusetts 7-Eleven owner has responded with his own message.
The message "war" was started by Joshua Harrison. He owns the 7-Eleven near East Alameda Avenue and South Havana Street in Aurora.
Harrison told Denver7 he added a message on his receipts that said "Tom Brady's a cheater" about six months ago. But it got a lot of attention this week when a photo of the receipt went viral.
A 7-Eleven owner, and Patriots' fan, in Massachusetts said someone posted the Aurora receipt on his Facebook page and he decided to respond.
Owner Mike Zotto's receipts now have two messages. At the top, it says, "Tom Brady is a football God!!!" And the bottom it says, "Haters live in Denver!!"
Zotto told Denver7 he's been a Patriots' fan for decades.
"We're no cheaters here," Zotto said. "We don't deflate balls, we don't do that stuff, we're out to win."
Zotto said Denver fans are just jealous of the Patriots.
Zotto said he didn't know how to change the message on his receipts, but he's learned how now.
By the way, the anti-Brady message on the Aurora, Colorado, store receipts are gone. Harris said 7-Eleven politely suggested that Harrison remove it.
Harrison, who is actually a Steelers' fan, said he put on a new message telling Broncos' fans to look out for Dec. 20, when the Steelers and Broncos face off in Pittsburgh.
