A big congratulations to Cameron Provines.
Tuesday in West Palm Beach the lacrosse player from Martin County was awarded a $5,000 scholarship as the first-ever Land Rover Palm Beach Player of the Year.
Land Rover of Palm Beach and ESPN 106.3 teamed up to give Provines the honor.
"It means a lot, I can't even speak right now because I am so worked up. This award is everything. Just the work I put in and hoping I would be noticed. I was not expecting this at all, words can't describe how I feel," he said.
Provines was selected not only for his athletic accomplishments, but also because of his hard work in the community and classroom.
