BOCA RATON, Fla. — Florida Atlantic will open the 2025 season at Iowa, the schools announced Wednesday.
The Owls will travel to Kinnick Stadium to take on the Hawkeyes on Aug. 30, 2025.
It will be the first meeting between the teams in school history.
FAU hasn't played in the Hawkeye State since 2001, when the Owls lost to Drake 31-7 in their inaugural season.
The Owls (3-1, 3-1 Conference USA) will travel to Florida International for the annual "Shula Bowl" rivalry Friday night.
