Free Krispy Kreme doughnuts (and more!) on Election Day

This election season has been difficult for the whole nation. Tensions are running so high that there are even questions as to whether the election results could lead to violence.

Well at long last, election day is almost here, and soon we will have a new president… and hopefully peace and unity. At the very least, we will have free doughnuts. That’s right—Krispy Kreme just announced that they will be giving a free doughnut to any customer who walks in the store and shows them their “I voted” sticker.

As Food and Wine shares, Krispy Kreme thinks that we all deserve a free doughnuts after this tiring election! Now that’s something every American can agree on.


There are plenty of other free perks out there that will hopefully inspire you to get out and vote!

Here are some other freebies to keep in mind after you get the groovy “I voted” sticker:

1) Free drink from ‘Firehouse Subs’. Hey, voting can make you thirsty!

2) At Gold’s Gym, you can get a free workout if you flash your “I voted” sticker.

3) A free dessert at Hard Rock Cafe.

And that’s not the end of the freebies. See more at and be sure to check out local businesses in your area. Some places such as the YMCA are even offering free childcare so that parents can go vote.
