(CNN) - A good Samaritan helped rescue five people Saturday after their boat caught fire off Florida's Gulf Coast.
The group abandoned the fishing boat and jumped into a raft to escape the flames.
A Coast Guard helicopter lowered a rescue diver to their life raft to check on them.
But just as they arrived, a man in a nearby fishing boat was able to pick up all five survivors and get them to shore safely.
No one was hurt.
