TAMPA, Fla. (AP) -- Two Tampa area sisters gave birth within 13 minutes of each other at the same hospital.
The Tampa Tribune reports Sarah Hittmeier and Crystal Wingate live next door to each other and had due dates just days apart.
But they both went into labor Tuesday and their baby boys were born later that night at St. Joseph's Women's Hospital.
Hittmeier's son Liam Santiago was born first, weighing in at 8 pounds, 6 ounces. His cousin Wyatt Wingate followed at 7 pounds, 5 ounces.
Wingate says the births might have been even closer but she had to "hold it a little bit" waiting for her doctor to arrive.
It's the third child for Hittmeier, the fourth for her sister. This isn't the first time they've had babies close in age.
Another pair of children were born 11 weeks apart.
