(WFLA, NBC NEWSCHANNEL) There was joy and relief as a kidnapped girl was reunited with her family in Florida.
Four-year-old Rebecca Lewis' father Luther carried her into an airport in Lakeland, where her overjoyed family kissed and hugged her.
There was cheering, crying and tears of joy.
The child vanished early Saturday and it set off a frantic search spanning the southeast once investigators pinned her abductor as a former family friend named "West Wild Hogs".
Police rescued Rebecca Monday in Memphis, Tennessee after an alert nurse recognized the pair at a hospital.
There's no word on why they were at the hospital; investigators say Rebecca did not appear to be hurt.
