Driver distracted by sex act kills man on bike

AUBURNDALE, Fla. (AP) — A central Florida driver told deputies he was distracted by a woman who was performing a sex act on him when his truck struck and killed a man on a bicycle.

Polk County Sheriff's spokeswoman Carrie Horstman says 54-year-old Randy Joe Allen left the scene of the Saturday night crash but was tracked down after a witness called police with his tag number.

The witness and her father returned to the scene and assisted Terry Lamunt Ross, who had been riding his bike.

An arrest report states that Allen told deputies he'd met a woman at a bar and thought he'd hit a stop sign while driving. He didn't stop.

He's now charged with leaving the scene of a crash involving a death. It's not known whether he has an attorney.
