TAMARAC, Fla. (AP) -- Florida deputies say a man killed himself intentionally and his roommate and their dog accidentally by running his car in the garage.
Broward Sheriff's spokeswoman Gina Carter told reporters the first man was found dead in the garage Wednesday morning with a suicide note. His roommate and the dog were found inside the Tamarac townhome.
Carter said it appeared the deaths of the second man and the dog were an accident. The men's names have not been released.
Firefighters evacuated the connecting townhomes but no one else required treatment.
