A 28-year-old man died Friday night in Oakland Park after being struck by a vehicle.
Just before 8:40 p.m., Kinna Collander was walking south across E. Commercial Boulevard, in or near the crosswalk, when he was struck by a vehicle.
The driver fled from the scene of the crash.
Collander was transported to Broward Health Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.
Detectives believe the suspect's vehicle may be light in color and has damage to its front bumper, hood and windshield.
