PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. (WTVJ) — A man was hospitalized after a lightning strike in Pembroke Pines Wednesday, police said.
Officers responded to the scene in the 8600 block of Pembroke Road, Pembroke Pines police said.
The man was taken to a nearby hospital where his exact condition was unknown.
Multiple officers are on scene in the area of Cinnamon Ridge (8600 Pembroke Road) regarding a lightning strike. One male has been transported to the hospital with injuries. The surrounding roadways are not being affected at this time. pic.twitter.com/Yh498aT1GY
