HOLLYWOOD, Fla. (AP) — Officials say a man was struck and killed by a South Florida commuter train.
The Sun Sentinel reports that the Brightline train hit the man Monday. Police say the man was trying to cross the tracks after ducking under the gate, which was already down. The conductor honked multiple times, but the man continued to cross.
Brightline higher-speed trains are in the process of being re-branded as Virgin Trains USA.
