A Central Florida hospital got an unwelcomed guest recently: an alligator.
Staff at Regional General Hospital in Williston called authorities Wednesday about the gator.
Williston Police Chief Dennis Strow told the Ocala Star-Banner they worked with animal control to catch the 5-foot-10-inch reptile.
A Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission trapper took the gator for proper disposal.
