Investigators with the Lee County Sheriff's Office arrested a man who they said intentionally shot and killed his own son Monday night.
Jonathan Brunelle, 41, has been charged with one count of second-degree murder.
According to the Lee County Sheriff's Office, at 8:19 p.m. Monday, deputies responded to the 4600 block of 28th Street SW in Lehigh Acres and arrived to find that Brunelle shot 20-year-old Shane Brunelle, his son, during a domestic incident.
Shane died from his injuries, and Jonathan Brunelle was arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail Tuesday morning.
