ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - A 15-year-old girl who went missing last week in central Florida told authorities she got through a security checkpoint at Orlando International Airport using only a drink coupon.
Orlando television station WESH reported Monday that the central Florida teen told detectives that she took a bus from her suburb to Orlando International Airport.
She then told officers she found a drink coupon on the floor and used it to get through the TSA pre-check security checkpoint.
The TSA, however, said in a statement that the teen had a valid boarding pass.
The girl was stopped at an airline gate.
