ORANGE PARK, Fla.-- A Florida baby made a dramatic entrance into the world this week. The baby's mother says she was on her way to the hospital when she realized the baby wasn't going to wait to get there.
Marina Rose was born in the passenger seat of Michael Armanno's car. "We were on our way but we didn't make it. When we got here we got in the emergency lane, the doctors came out, but she just didn't want to wait anymore," he recalled.
For Bethany Russell the moment was a blur as doctors greeted her at the Orange Park Medical Center. "In that moment, I just felt I had to push, I don't want to, I want to make it and do an epidural, and I felt the bigger push."
The excitement of the moment their daughter entered this world is a memory that will stay with the couple forever.
Mom and baby are doing great and will head home soon.
