Florida firefighters help rescue a bald eagle who was badly injured by a fishing hook.
Pasco County firefighters say they got a knock at their door Saturday and found two kids holding the bird.
They say the eagle appeared to be tired and had a fishing line wrapped around him.
After further examination they realized the bird was underweight and a fishing hook was lodged in its beak, along with the fishing line wrapped around its wing.
Firefighters called the owl's nest sanctuary for wildlife to assist.
They believe the eagle was in bad shape for two days before he was discovered.
He was then transported to the sanctuary where he is expected to make a full recovery.
