DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) -- The Florida Highway Patrol has reopened Interstate 95 in both directors near Daytona Beach following a brush fire that caused low visibility.
Troopers said in a news release Tuesday afternoon that all lanes were open. Traffic was being detoured Tuesday morning.
The same stretch of road also was closed Monday because of smoke from the fire.
The Daytona Beach News-Journal reports the fire was thought to have been sparked by a lightning strike Sunday near mile marker 258.
Troopers said they would continue to monitor the area.
