LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- Four days after going missing from her home in Southwest Florida, an Amber Alert has been issued for 9-year-old Diana Alvares.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement believes Diana is in the company of 28-year-old Jorge Guerrero.  He has ties to the Orange County and Okeechobee area and may be driving a tan Chevy Malibu with Florida tag number 78NHD.

He is described as 5 feet 5 inches, 145 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Diana Alvares was last seen early Sunday morning at her home.  Several law enforcement agencies have been working hard since then to find the girl.

Wednesday, the Lee County Sheriff's Office said they have no evidence that Diana is still in the area.

Tuesday, Diana's family told Fox 4 in Fort Myers that they believed she was taken by somebody known to the family, since their dog did not bark during the time she disappeared.  Guerrero lived with the family briefly, and moved out a month ago.

A $4,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest in this case.
