Miami Fire Rescue rushed to the scene of a building collapse Wednesday in the Brickell neighborhood.
The incident happened at a luxury high-rise currently under construction near Southeast 14th Lane and Brickell Avenue.
Officials said there were reports of a structural collapse.
Video showed debris strewn across the road and a heavily damaged car.
Splintered wood and other construction material were still hanging from the top floor of the Echo Building, a 60-floor condominium.
NBC 6 Miami reports at least 4 people were injured.
Miami Police said it appeared scaffolding fell from construction site.
Traffic was being closed from 14th to 15th Street on Brickell Avenue.
