CAPE CANAVERAL AIR FORCE STATION, Fla.-- An Atlas V rocket lifted off early Wednesday morning from Florida.
The rocket sent a communications satellite for the U.S. Air Force into orbit.
At a cost of nearly $2 billion, the satellite is designed to keep the president and top military commanders connected even during a nuclear conflict,according to floridatoday.com.

United Launch Alliance said its next launch is set for November 29, 2018 in California.
