MIAMI (AP) -- Authorities say they've detained four people after one of them shot at a Miami police officer during a traffic stop.
Miami police spokeswoman Kenia Fallat says one of the people in the vehicle stepped outside and shot at the officer during the traffic stop early Friday morning. The officer was not injured, but his vehicle was struck by gunfire.
The vehicle then fled.Fallat says the officer radioed a description of the vehicle and it was stopped a short time later.
Four people were taken into custody.
Police have not released any information on possible charges or the reason the man shot at the officer.
An investigation is continuing.
