2 more Broward County residents test positive for coronavirus

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Three more Florida residents, including two from Broward County, have tested positive for coronavirus.

The Florida Department of Health announced Thursday morning that two men, ages 61 and 65, from Broward County have tested positive and are being isolated until cleared by public health officials.

A 57-year-old man from Lee County also tested positive.

According to the news release, the 61-year-old Broward County man contracted coronavirus while traveling through Port Everglades.

Health officials aren't sure if the 65-year-old man's case was travel-related. An epidemiological investigation is ongoing.

A total of 23 Florida residents have tested positive. Two of them have died.
