2 men hurt after crash involving Brightline train in Fort Lauderdale

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Two men were hospitalized Wednesday night after a crash involving a Brightline train and a vehicle in Fort Lauderdale.

The crash happened at around 9 p.m. in the area of SW 2nd Avenue and SW 7th Street, according to Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue.

It's unclear what led up to the crash.

The men were extricated from the vehicle, fire officials said. Their conditions were unknown.
