A wildfire that began on the west side of I-95 in St. Lucie County Tuesday afternoon is 100% contained, according to the Florida Forest Service.
The forest service said west winds pushed the fire toward the interstate at mile marker 126 north of Midway Road.

The Florida Forest Service as well as St. Lucie Fire District crews were called to the scene and the Florida Highway Patrol monitored roads to make sure there were no problems for drivers.
