UPDATE: Port St. Lucie police said overnight that John Joseph Stanielon was found safe overnight in Orlando by Florida Highway Patrol.

EARLIER STORY: The Port St. Lucie Police Department is seeking the community's help in locating a missing endangered 76-year-old man.
John Joseph Stanielon suffers from dementia and depression.
Stanielon was last seen by his daughter at 5 a.m. Tuesday at their home located in the 100 block of SW Essex Drive in Port St. Lucie.
According to a news release, Stanielon usually visits businesses in the area, as the Dollar Store at Victoria Square and a Walmart on US 1 but do not venture farther.
Police have searched nearby businesses and hospitals but were unable to locate Stanielon.
Stanielon is described as 6-foot tall, weighing approximately 175 pounds. He has gray hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing tan shorts and a gray polo shirt with white stripes. Stanielon has no tattoos and wears prescription glasses.
Police say Stanielon drives a black 2010 4-door crew crab Nissan Frontier truck with Florida tag KEV-D77. It is not known where he could be traveling.
