Posted

Police say a man stole an envelope containing a credit card that had just been delivered to a Port St. Lucie home.

Authorities say the man entered the front screen porch of the residence in the 600 Block of SW Haas Avenue on November 30, just before 1 p.m.

They say he took the envelope containing a new bank credit card delivered by FedEx 9 minutes earlier.

Police also say a white SUV was parked nearby but they are not sure if it is related to the incident.

Police describe the suspect as a black male with a medium height and build, and short hair. They say he was wearing a hooded zippered jacket, blue jeans and black sneakers with red soles.

Anyone with information is urged to call Detective Al Corona at 772.344.4080 or Treasure Coast Crime Stoppers at 800.273.TIPS.
