Police evacuated a Goodwill store in Port St. Lucie for a time after they say someone dropped off what turned out to be a real hand grenade.
The building in the 1600 block of SW St. Lucie West Boulevard was cleared for the St. Lucie County Bomb Squad.
Once they arrived the bomb squad found that the main charge was gone on the device but there was fusing inside.
The bomb squad said they would take it to be destroyed.
