Port St. Lucie police arrested a man they say was driving 80 mph in a 30 mph zone on Wednesday.
Madeus Wilderson, 30, is charged with running a stop sign, reckless driving, failure to yield to an emergency police vehicle, in addition to the excessive speed.
The incident occurred in the 2200 block of Southwest Cameo Boulevard in Port St. Lucie.
