Police say they cleared out a Goodwill store in Port St. Lucie Wednesday after an employee found a grenade inside a bin donated to the store.
Police also evacuated the parking lot at the store at 1082 SW Gatlin Blvd., and the bomb squad was called.
A St. Lucie County Bomb Squad technician investigated the device and determined it was inert, police said.
It's not clear who donated the grenade.
Police are asking you that if you come across a grenade, munitions or projectiles to call them first.
