PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. -- A Port St. Lucie man is under arrest after police say he made an online threat to shoot up a school.

Police say their investigation began shortly after noon Thursday when they received a call from authorities in Bloomington, Indiana. Police in Indiana say a person who was on Facebook reported that someone in a chat group posted a photo of a man holding a rifle with the caption "Time to shoot up dem schools today fam".

Police in Indiana were able to determine the location of the post through the IP address, which indicated that the posts came from Port St. Lucie, Florida.

Port St. Lucie police were given the address by Indiana authorities. Upon arrival at that address, police made contact with 20-year-old Benjamin Olsen.

Police say Olsen confirmed that he made the posts, but said he was just "trolling" the internet to upset people.

Police confirmed that Olsen was the man in the photo and located the air rifle that he was posing with.

Olsen was arrested for making threats and booked into the St. Lucie County Jail.
