FORT PIERCE, Fla. — Orlando police say they believe a body found in a SUV in Fort Pierce on Friday is that of a man who gunned down his manager at an Under Armour storeearlier this week.
According to police, 46-year-old Daniel Everett shot and killed 37-year-old Eunice Vazquez inside the store at the Orlando International Premium Outlets just after 8 p.m. on Monday.
Police said Everett had been fired earlier in the day and reportedly had a list of employees he wanted to target.
Police Chief Orlando Rolon said on Friday that a jogger spotted a man's body inside a Kia Sorento at the Harbour Isle Marina, located in the 800 block of Seaway Drive in Fort Pierce.
"We believe it is the suspect in this case," said Chief Rolon. "We're very confident that the person we were looking for has been located."
The police chief said the Fort Pierce Police Department is now launching a death investigation.
Fort Pierce police released this statement on Friday:
"Fort Pierce Police Department is investigating a deceased person found in a vehicle located in the 800 block of Seaway Drive. It has been confirmed that the vehicle is the suspect vehicle related to a homicide that occurred in Orlando and detectives are working with the Orlando Police Department regarding this case."
"It's a tragic end for everyone," said Homicide Det. Teresa Sprague, who added the body appeared to have been in the parking lot for several days.
Orlando police said Everett, who was wanted for first-degree murder, was seen driving on a major highway in St. Lucie County around 9:45 p.m. Monday, less than two hours after the killing.

There were approximately 10 to 20 shoppers inside the Under Armour outlet store when the shooting happened, but no one else was hurt, police said.
New photos released on Friday show Everett inside the store just moments before the killing. In one of the photos, he appears to be holding a gun.
Police believe Everett was driving a 2012 gray Kia Sorento with a Florida tag IH21AC and a volleyball sticker on the rear.
A medical examiner will perform an autopsy on the body to determine the cause of death.
