FORT PIERCE, Fla. — A man is dead following a boat crash in Fort Pierce earlier this week, authorities say.
According to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, David Michael Klein, 65, of Kattskill Bay, New York, was thrown from his 23-foot Key West boat around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Intracoastal Waterway at Faber Cove.
Three commercial fishermen pulled Klein's body from the water.
Klein was taken to Lawnwood Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased.
FWC is investigating the cause of the crash.
