Jaden Jones, 9, loved basketball, soccer, and sports in general.
His friend said he talked about Sunday's fishing trip for days. The same one he lost his life on.
Jaden was a student at Francis K Sweet Elementary School in Fort Pierce.
“He used to make us laugh and at class, we used to play at recess everytime," said Antonio Mills, Jaden's friend. "We used to sing together and rap together on the school bus."
Antonio Mills' father said his son will likely talk with grievance counselors, who are at the school for students and teachers.
The third grader said they are drawing and writing notes to remember him.
"He's always going to be in our heart," he said.
