A gas station in Fort Pierce is being watched closely after one of its employees was arrested for selling prescription-strength male enhancements.

The Florida Department of Health says Nereida Lopez was arrested for selling the drugs at the Sam's Market gas station on Okeechobee Road.

Health officials say she sold the medicine without a prescription and without a license. Lopez was arrested December 18, 2014.

On Monday, the store's manager told WPTV they cooperated with officials. According to him, they pointed out specific drugs the store could no longer sell, but was told that others would be allowed.

The store has hired an attorney. We are still working to gather additional information on Lopez's charges and why she was the only one in the store charged.
