Dozens of people joined forces Saturday for the Restoring the Village initiative in Fort Pierce.
Residents helped restore and beautify the Lincoln Park community. They were seen painting buildings, planting trees and picking up trash.
The St. Lucie County Sheriff's Department and the Fort Pierce Police Department were part of the effort.
